Daniel Roth Lady hand-winding Ref. 528.ST
+ Free ShippingDaniel Roth stands out as one of the most exceptional watchmakers in history. Over the course of his impressive 50-year career, Roth collaborated with numerous prestigious luxury brands, crafting numerous captivating timepieces featuring intricate technical innovations. These include a Tourbillon boasting an 8-day power reserve, an instantaneous Perpetual Calendar, and a Westminster Grande Sonnerie Carillon equipped with four gongs. Remarkably, little information is available regarding his origins and early life.
From 1988 to 1994, Daniel Roth’s independent production thrived. Over these six transformative years, Roth crafted some of his most significant horological creations, establishing an unmistakable style and pioneering the concept of contemporary independent watchmaking. The brand achieved both creative and production success during this period. However, for reasons that remain somewhat mysterious, and seemingly connected to the economic circumstances of the era, Daniel Roth made the decision to transfer a substantial portion of his ownership stake to The Hour Glass Group, a company headquartered in Singapore.
This watch was during The Hour Glass Group Era.
