The Seamaster 200 was initially introduced in 1986 and, like many other Omega collections, was associated with an event highlighting its deep-sea capabilities. Interestingly, it wasn’t fully appreciated during its time, earning the nickname “Pre Bond” in anticipation of the subsequent model in the series. Omega even categorizes this line as “Pre Bond” in their vintage database. According to Omega’s vintage database, it seems that the Seamaster 200 made its debut in 1986 and remained in production until 1995. However, its role was essentially taken over in 1993 by the “Bond” Seamaster 300. Today, the Pre-Bond 200 is highly regarded, thanks to its distinctive design and vintage appeal.

This particular model, identified by reference number 368.1062, features a striking black dial and a robust stainless steel case, complemented by sword hands. It is equipped with the highly accurate 1111 Automatic Chronometer Omega movement, with the movement serial number matching that of the case.
